Vintage Star Wars ROTJ X-Wing Damaged Fighter

I am the mean Mom selling our son's Star War things.  We have to think about moving and he had to go through his boxes that have been stored here for years. He did give me permission.
The plane is in good shape except for the one wing that was broken off (see photo).  The part of the wing is still in the slot. I put batteries in, but could not get whatever is to make noise or...to work.  However, when I push the head down it does do something to the wings-move up and down. The cockpit cover comes off and on. The landing gear goes up and down. The front sticker is peeling at the top (see photos).  If you need more pictures or information let me know.
