Such a beekeeping product as propolis has long attracted the attention of pharmacists. This is due to its pharmacological action, the content of phenolic compounds in its composition, high antiviral and antimicrobial activity and pronounced anti-inflammatory, capillary-strengthening, adaptogenic and reparative properties. Modern medicine continues to study the properties of propolis in order to create new dosage forms based on it.
In the complex of treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases in gynecology, proctology and urology, local therapy, in particular rectal-vaginal suppositories (candles), is of great importance.
