NOAH BEERY SR. HAND-SIGNED ONE-OF-A- KIND 1932 "KID FROM SPAIN" MOVIE CONTRACT

Description

Here's a rare original August 16, 1932 printed and typed "Minimum Contract For Artists" between Samuel Goldwyn Studios (the producer) and famous actor Noah Beery Sr. (the artist).
This multi-folded, long one-page contract measures approximately 17 and 1/2 inches x 8 inches.
This contract agreed to pay Noah Beery Sr. ,250 per week for Beery's role as the character "Alonzo" in the 1932 Eddie Cantor movie "The Kid From Spain".
On the lower right side of this contract, Noah Beery Sr. hand-signed his name in ink on the "artist" line.   The contract was also hand-signed above Beery's signature by a representative of Samuel Goldwyn Studios.   Another executive initialed the contract on the lower left side.
Our "Certificate of Authenticity" will be included.
Also, a narrow piece of paper was affixed across the center of the contract with a typed amendment added to the contract.   This amendment paper was hand-initialed by Noah Beery Sr.
ALSO INCLUDED in this auction is a Noah Beery Sr. portrait photo full page taken from a very early book on Hollywood stars.
The page measures approximately 10 and 1/4 inches x 7 and 1/2 inches.
Another actor is pictured on the reverse side.

The contract has two small punch holes in the top edge area, a light paper clip impression mark on the top left edge, a very small brown mark on the top edge, and the attached amendment paper is folded over a little at the end but fully intact.
This collectible contract is in overall very good, clean condition.
The Noah Beery Sr. signature, initials, and other signatures are clean.
The book page has some insignificant light wrinkle lines and is in overall very good condition.
