Instantly create a fully seasoned stock or broth for soups, sauces and gravies! Add home-style flavor by rubbing on roasts, steaks or chops, or mix into ground beef for an even more intense flavor.

No Added MSG other than that which naturally occurs in the hydrolyzed proteins and autolyzed yeast extracts

To make an instant fully seasoned stock or broth, add Minor's Beef Base to water and stir
3/4 tsp base + 1 cup water
1 Tbsp base + 1 quart water
1 lb base ( 1 container) + 5 gallons water
BEEFY FRENCH ONION SOUP (serves 13)
INGREDIENTS:
32 oz onion, sliced thin or small diced
64 oz hot water
2 oz unsalted butter
3 sprigs fresh thyme
2 whole garlic cloves
5 pieces of toasted, thin sliced French bread
13 oz mild Gruyere cheese, shredded
2.5 oz Minor's Beef Base
DIRECTIONS:
In a heavy bottom pan, melt butter. Add onions, thyme and garlic. Sauté, stirring frequently, until they turn a rich brown color, approximately 25 minutes. Once onions are brown, remove thyme stems and whole garlic cloves.
Add water and Beef Base to onions. Heat to boiling; stirring frequently. Reduce heat and gently simmer for 5 minutes. Seasoning to taste.
For service: Portion 6-1/2 oz. soup into heavy bowl. Place 2 slices of toasted french bread on top of soup (to float like a raft), and then place 2 oz of cheese on top of bread. Place bowl of soup under a broiler until cheese is melted. Serve hot.
