    Description

    For bid is an original June 1963 Hong Kong snapshot photograph of a young United States Navy sailor in his dress whites standing, holding a Pan Am travel bag, across the street from the HK "Sailors' Home and Missions to Seamen" building.  This high rise building was completed in 1933 and torn down in the 1980's.  The sailor wrote the following message on the back:  "8-28-63 Darling, After photo for you taken in Hongkong, BC I love you, JRC."  There is another word at the bottom I cannot make out.  Might be an acronym.
    Wonderful scalloped edge photograph from a Vietnam War era USN sailor.  Good condition.  Is missing a tiny bit of an upper corner.
