    Description

GINGER ROGERS hand written signed autograph letter 1960. Shipped with USPS First Class Package.
Charming fan letter from 1960 asking for an autograph from Ginger Rogers.  In part "I hope to get to see you in Oakdale this week.  The last time I saw you, in person, was about 1928 at the Paramount in New Haven.  You were still in your teens and appearing in a Paramount Public stage visit (being made to play the N. Y. Paramount the following week).  Short red hair, green dress and very cute, you mad a large bit with the audience.  There was no trouble following your career from then on."
Ginger hand writes on the back of the fan letter, "Dear John Perrie, Thank you for your lost gracious note your request for an autographed photo i.e.: included.  Forgive the use of your stationary am at rehearsals-none available.  Kindest Regards, Sincerely Ginger Rogers"
Ginger's note takes up the whole 8.5x11 page in beautiful rich color ink.  I have owned this for nearly 40 years, never did get around to framing it.
