Composition
The active substances are dexpanthenol ( Dexpanthenol ) and chlorhexidine hydrochloride ( Chlorhexidini dihydrochloridum).
1 g cream contains 50 mg dexpanthenol and 5 mg chlorhexidine hydrochloride.
Other ingredients: pantothenic lactone, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, white petrolatum, liquid paraffin, lanolin, macrogol stearate, purified water.
Dosage
Intended for topical application to the skin.
The ointment is usually applied several times a day, depending on your needs, to cleansed wounds or inflamed areas. It is not necessary to use a dressing.
Avoid using on extensive skin surfaces.
Frequent use of the cream on the same surfaces can lead to skin irritation.
Dexpanthenol after penetrating the skin quickly transforms into pantothenic acid which plays an important role in skin structure and skin regeneration during wound healing.
Chlorhexidine is a disinfectant that acts on gram-positive bacteria.

Contraindications
Do not use Bepanthen Plus :
- if you are allergic to the active substances dexpanthenol or chlorhexidine, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- if the eardrum breaks.
Side effects

itching,
erythema, eczema,
hives,
skin irritation and bubbles at the application site.
Warnings and precautions
Do not use Bepanthen Plus on large, deep and infected wounds. In such cases, the patient should contact the physician.
Due to the content of cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol and lanolin, Bepanthen Plus may cause local skin reactions.
Do not use this medicine together with other disinfectants.
Avoid contact of the medicine with eyes, ears and mucous membranes.
Bepanthen Plus should not be used for skin irritations that are not susceptible to infection.
The drug should be stored at a temperature below 25 o C.
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Drug Bepanthen Plus should not be used concurrently with other disinfectants.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Bepanthen Plus can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only on the order of a doctor.
Avoid using the drug on large skin areas in pregnant and lactating women.
When used on warts in breastfeeding women, it is necessary to wash the warts before breastfeeding.
