    For your consideration is a solid black boulder  opal from Queensland, Australia. It features modestly bright (2/5) non-directional blue pinfire. The buff-top, oval-cut stone weighs 3.5 carats. It measures a CALIBRATED 11mm long by 9mm wide and 3mm deep.  No crazing or pits, thereiss  some ironstone in the face. As ever, this is an ALL-NATURAL, untreated gemstone.
