    These vintage, 6 reversible, laminated placemats are from the 1960's from a ESSO promo for the
    "PUT
    A TIGER
    IN
    YOUR
    TANK!
    slogan.
    On one side of the great looking promotional placemat it features in orange print, the tiger in the middle with the slogan underneath.  There are also the festive iconic paw prints bordering the edge all the way around.
    The reverse side of the placemat features colorful, historical U.S. landmark drawings by well known artist, George Shawe...even with his factory signature in the lower corner.
    The 6 placemats' U.S. Landmarks include:
    1 of Independence Hall; Philadelphia, PA
    1 of Governor's Palace; Williamsburg, VA
    2 of The Capital; Washington, D.C.
    2 of Public Gardens; Boston, Massachusetts
    The six placemats are a sizeable 11.5" x 17.5" and are firm, but flexible, and in a laminated plastic that can be wiped clean easily.
