In Floor ramp design allows the ramp to be stored under the floor, as apposed to a folding ramp design which obstructs the door entry when the ramp is not in use.

By the press of a button, the power sliding door opens, the van kneels as the ramp slides out.  Press the button again. the ramp slides in, the van raises, the door closes.
