100 ml of solution contains 5 g of iodine;
excipients: potassium iodide, ethanol 96%, purified water.
Indications
Used externally as an antiseptic, irritant for infectious and inflammatory diseases of the skin and mucous membranes, for treating the surgical field, for preventing infection of small lesions of the integrity of the skin, to reduce inflammatory processes in myositis, neuralgia (has a distracting effect).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to iodine. The drug is also contraindicated for diabetic and trophic ulcers.
Features of application
You should be careful when applying iodine to mucous membranes, since the alcohol contained in the drug can cause burns and severe irritation. Do not allow the drug to get into your eyes. Particular care should be taken when using iodine in patients with blond hair.
Should not be used on large areas of skin due to possible burns.
