You are bidding on a very nice copy of a Vintage fold-out 1951 Esso road map of the Northeast United States, printed more than 69 years ago.
The map opens to 24" x 33½" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by the General Drafting Company.
The map was distributed by Esso in 1951 and is dated in the legend.
The handsome artwork on the front cover shows a convertible parked at a rustic roadside rest area.
Condition:
The map is in
very good used condition,
bright, crisp, and clean, with
no
rips, tears, or writing. There's a neat rubber-stamp imprint on the back cover from an Esso gas station in Grantville, Pa.
