Original 1948 brochure with a cover photo of the Imperial Oil Company's 80-foot Art Deco tower on the north side of Victoria's Inner Harbor, across from the Empress Hotel.Imperial Oil's Causeway Service Station was also the main office of Cec's U Drive & Sightseeing Company, Ltd., which boasted a "fleet of 1948 Buicks...convertibles and sedans," three of which are parked in front of the tower.
The brochure opens to 9½" x 8" and includes descriptions of local points of interest and three personally conducted limousine tours.

The tower featured in the photo was Imperial Oil's flagship service station in the Victoria area. It opened on June 19, 1931 and functioned on three levels. The lower two levels were reached by a ramp wide enough to accommodate two vehicles abreast, and housed repair stations with a total capacity of 120 cars. The gas station and pumps were located at street level, at the base of the tower.
