    Description

    Vintage fold-out 1947 Esso road map of New Jersey, printed more than 73 years ago.
    The map opens to 34" x 16½" and has great detail on old highway alignments and route numbers, with cartography by the General Drafting Company.
    There are inset plans of Trenton, Newark, Camden, and Atlantic City, as well as a colorful pictorial map of New Jersey.
    The map was distributed by Esso Marketers in 1947 and is dated in the legend.
    The attractive front cover artwork shows the beach and boardwalk at Atlantic City.
    On the back cover there's an illustration of an Esso gas station.
