    1879-S MS63 NGC. CAC. A lustrous, boldly struck example of this scarce half eagle issue from San Francisco. A few wispy marks are found under magnification but they seem minimal for the Select Uncirculated grade assignment. Census: 22 in 63, 6 finer. CAC: 3 in 63, 2 finer (1/19).
