    l for 1050 Disk Drive. Early 1050 disk drives were shipped with DOS 3.0. Due to major compatibility problems with the Atari 810/DOS II the Dos 3.0 was
    discontinued
    and replaced by Dos 2.5. The Dos 2.5 worked with all dives on the market. Another added bonus Atari added a 130XE
    Ram-disk
    to Dos 2.5. Most Atari 1050 Disk Drives were shipped with Dos 3.0. Dos 3.0 was a good operating system just not compatible with single density disk drives.  Single density version works with all Atari disk drives including the Atari810.
